Blueprint list checked:
How a card's stats are worked out
The community wiki's formula, consistent with what the Integration screen shows:
- Power or Defense = (Power or Defense of every filled Zone) × Potency Multiplier × penalty multiplier.
- Potency Multiplier = average Potency of the Iota you placed ÷ 100. Iota in the store screenshots range from about 158 to 228 Potency, so a multiplier near 2 is normal.
- Trait slots = the slots given by filled Zones. Traits come from the Iota you placed.
- Both Power and Defense must be at least 1, or the game will not Integrate. Iota are used up when you confirm.
The five penalties
| Penalty | When you get it |
|---|---|
| Overload | Each Iota beyond the card's Iota Limit. |
| Out of Bounds | Each Iota touching a dark (unsafe) tile. One penalty per Iota, however many unsafe tiles it covers. |
| Overlap | Each tile holding two or more Iota. One penalty per tile. The hard cap is three Iota on one tile. |
| Disconnect | Each separate cluster of Iota after the first. |
| Falsehood | Any Iota that touches no safe tile at all. Stats drop to zero and you cannot Integrate. |
What penalties cost
| Total penalties | Stats kept |
|---|---|
| 0 | 100% |
| 1 | 89% |
| 2 | 56% |
| 3 or more | 0% |
The percentages are the community's measurements; lowiro has not published them. Character skills can soak up specific penalties before they count (next table), which is why the same layout can be legal for one character and not another.
Character skills that change Integration
| Skill | Effect |
|---|---|
| Expanded Iota Limit | Raises the number of Iota you can place without an Overload penalty, up to the Blueprint's maximum. |
| Overload Tolerance | Ignores a set number of Overload penalties. |
| Out of Bounds Tolerance | Ignores a set number of Out of Bounds penalties. |
| Overlap Tolerance | Ignores a set number of Overlap penalties. |
| Disconnection Tolerance | Ignores a set number of Disconnect penalties. |
| Infusion (spectral) | Per colour, sets the highest Iota Tier that character can use when Integrating. |
The store screenshot of Nia's character screen shows Expanded Iota Limit at level 3 and Disconnect Tolerance at level 0, so skills level up over the game.
Known traits
| Trait | Activates | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Opening Recovery++ | Start of Phase | Heals 11% of your Resolve (not if your Resolve is below 0). |
| Opening Surge++ | Start of Phase | Deals damage equal to 0.11x your Total Power. |
| Inner Concentration++ | Whole Phase | Power and damage dealt x1.66. |
| Inner Rigor++ | Whole Phase | Defense x1.66, and incoming damage is divided by the same factor. |
These are the ++ versions seen so far; weaker and stronger variants likely exist. The achievement Ranged Inner Everything (craft a card with three "Ranged Inner" traits and at least 4 total Range) confirms a Ranged Inner family that has not been documented yet.
Colour advantage
Every card has one of five colours, and each beats the next in a loop: Red → Green → Purple → Yellow → Blue → Red. A card facing the colour it beats gets ×1.25 Power and Defense. The losing side is not penalised. Nia, Mei, Ayame, Iris and Story's signature Blueprints cover all five colours, one each. The full Encounter maths is in the Encounters guide.
Crafting achievements
- Card Named Unlinked: a card with at most 100 Power and 100 Defense (1.4% of players).
- Grandmastery Challenge I, II, III: Tier 1, 2 and 3 cards with every Zone filled and no penalties.
- Stat Stick: a card with at least 50,000 Power and 50,000 Defense.
- Max Potential: find a 999 Potency Iota.
Rates are on the achievements page; the step-by-step method is in the Card Integration guide.

Cards FAQ
How do you get cards in In Falsus?
You make them. Unlock a Blueprint through the Scenario, earn Iota by clearing Encounters, place the Iota on the Blueprint grid and Integrate. The same Blueprint can be Integrated again with a better layout.
How many cards can I take into a song?
Up to five, one per Phase. You cannot bring two cards made from the same Blueprint. An empty slot counts as 100 Power and 100 Defense with no colour or traits.
What does the Falsehood penalty mean?
At least one Iota does not touch any safe tile. It zeroes the card, so the game will not let you Integrate until you move it.
How many cards are there?
The community has recorded 11 Blueprints so far, one to three per character plus one for their advisor, Freya. A demo-era video counted 50 card slots in the menu, but the full list has not been published.
